Use of certification marks and symbols

Certified clients may use the Calibre Certification mark to communicate their certification. Every use must match the legal entities, sites and scope shown on the certificate.

Using the Calibre mark

You may use the mark on your website, email signatures, stationery, marketing materials and tenders relating to your certified scope.

YOU MUST

  • say your organisation is certified, not accredited
  • refer to your information security management system, not a product or service
  • use only the artwork supplied by Calibre
  • reproduce your certificate in full and without alteration

YOU MUST NOT

  • place the mark on products, packaging, test reports or product interfaces;
  • imply that certification is an endorsement or guarantee of security;
  • make claims outside your certified scope; or
  • use the mark before certification, during suspension, or after withdrawal or expiry.

Accreditation symbols

Do not use any IAS, IAF, ILAC or other accreditation symbol unless Calibre has authorised it in writing and supplied the approved artwork.

The IAF/IAS combined mark is not available for use by certified clients.

Changes to your certification

If certification is suspended, withdrawn or expires, you must stop referring to it immediately and remove the mark from your materials.

If your certified scope changes, update every certification claim to reflect the new scope.

Recommended wording

“[Legal entity] is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 by Calibre Certifications Ltd for [certified scope] (certificate no. [number]).”

Do not say “ISO 27001 accredited” or claim that a product or service is ISO 27001 certified.
